Preparing for E-Signing
e-SignDoc functionality is available via a dropdown menu in LotusLive Files.
Silanis e-SignDoc integrates seamlessly with LotusLive Files. The “Add Signatures” functionality uses LotusLive Contacts and Files sharing capabilities to allow the owner of the document to select the individuals with whom to e-sign the document. An easy-to-use Web tool enables the location of each signature and initial in the document to be visually defined.
Signature fields are added to documents using a simple drag-and-drop method.
Silanis e-SignRoom integrates with LotusLive Activities and is accessible in the “My Services” menu. Using the same Web tool as in e-SignDoc, the e-SignRoom Manager prepares all the documents, identifies all the participants, and controls the execution of the e-signing ceremony. The e-SignRoom automatically sends e-mail invitations to all the participants asking them to take part in the collaborative e-signing process.

Collaborating During E-Signing
Users are guided through the e-signing process at every step.
Leveraging the LotusLive enterprise collaboration platform, the prepared document is e-signed using the “Sign Document” capability of e-SignLive.
e-SignRoom participants click on the link in the e-mail invitation and are directed to log into LotusLive. Participants are presented with a list of documents to review or sign.
Signing documents electronically is a secure and easy “click-to-sign” process.
The e-SignRoom guides participants through the e-signing ceremony by presenting all of the documents and indicating where to sign or initial. Users “click-to-sign” documents with their mouse.
The entire ceremony takes place within a Web browser. No plug-ins, additional software or special hardware are needed to participate in the process.

Monitoring E-Signing Activities
The status of documents and e-signing activities can be monitored at all times.
An Executive Dashboard provides e-SignRoom Managers with a real-time view of all the e-SignRooms that they are responsible for. Managers can monitor the status of their e-SignRooms and obtain real-time information on how many documents have been signed, by whom, when they were signed, and what documents are still pending.
